Italian Stuffed Sausages
Ingredients
1 pkg, Italian sausage links, mild, Johnsonville
1 ea onion, medium
1 ea bell pepper
3-5 ea sticks of string cheese
1 jar marianna or spaghetti sauce
1 cup parmesan cheese
1 pkg angel hair pasta
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°
Cut down the middle of each sausage with a knife, but not all the way through to butterfly the sausage. You do not need to remove the casing on the sausages.
Split the string cheese down the middle and place inside the cut.
Slice the onion and bell pepper and place over the sausages.
Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
Pour jar of sauce over top
Cover with shredded parmesan cheese
Bake in the oven for 40 minutes
Serve over the top of the cooked pasta
