Italian Stuffed Sausages

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg, Italian sausage links, mild, Johnsonville

  • 1 ea onion, medium

  • 1 ea bell pepper

  • 3-5 ea sticks of string cheese

  • 1 jar marianna or spaghetti sauce

  • 1 cup parmesan cheese

  • 1 pkg angel hair pasta

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400°

  • Cut down the middle of each sausage with a knife, but not all the way through to butterfly the sausage. You do not need to remove the casing on the sausages.

  • Split the string cheese down the middle and place inside the cut.

  • Slice the onion and bell pepper and place over the sausages.

  • Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.

  • Pour jar of sauce over top

  • Cover with shredded parmesan cheese

  • Bake in the oven for 40 minutes

  • Serve over the top of the cooked pasta
