Crispy Baked Chicken Wings
Ingredients
4 lbs chicken wings, split at joints, wingtips reserved for other recipes
2 T baking powder
3/4 t salt
1/2 t cracked black pepper
1 t paprika
1 t garlic powder
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a cooling rack on top
Spray with non-stick spray
Pat the wings dry and place them in a large bowl
In a small bow, combine the salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika and baking powder
Sprinkle the seasoning over the wings
Toss wings to coat evenly
Arrange the wings skin side up in a single layer on the wire racks
Bake, turning every 20 minutes until wings are crispy and browned
The total cook time will depend on the size of the wings from 40 to 60 minutes
Remove from the oven and let stand for 5 minutes
