Chocolate Chip Cookie Cupcakes

This recipe was used to create entries for a bake sale used to fund Scottie’s trip to England - Retta Haney. These are very good and Krista loves them!!! UPDATE: EVERYONE loves them!!!

Yield: 24 cupcakes 3 Loaf pans

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix, Duncan Hines (no pudding)

  • 3.4 oz instant pudding, vanilla (1 box)

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 cup vegetable oil

  • 4 ea eggs, large

  • 4 oz German chocolate (1 bar)

  • 6 oz chocolate chips, semi-sweet

Directions

  • Chop German chocolate into small, pea-size pieces.

  • Mix all ingredients except German and chocolate chips into a large mixing bowl.

  • Mix with blender on low speed for 1 minute.

  • Add German chocolate and mix with blender on medium speed for 2 minutes.

  • Fold in chocolate chips until mixed evenly.

  • For cupcakes, bake at 350° for 17 minutes (originally 20 minutes).

  • For cake, 9x13, bake at 350° for 45 minutes (originally 1 hour).
