Another family favorite from Mama Kay’s Cookbook. Everyone I’ve cooked this for loves it! We grew up eating this with buttered Club crackers. Makes a lot and can be frozen.
2 lbs ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 large jar Ragu spaghetti sauce
1 large can chili, no beans (or 2 small)
1 lb Velveeta cheese
1 pkg spaghetti noodles
Cook spaghetti according to directions on bag/box then drain.
Brown meat and onions then drain.
Add spaghetti sauce with a little water (used to rinse out the rest of the sauce in the bottle) and chili.
Simmer for 15 minutes.
Cut cheese into chunks and add to sauce.
Stir until cheese melts. Make sure you stir or the cheese will stick.
Add spaghetti noodles and mix well.
