Chicken Spaghetti

From Mamma Kay’s Cookbook. This is a fantastic dish and a family favorite. NOTE: The picture was a batch where the recipe was doubled.

Ingredients

  • 1 ea Whole Chicken (Hen)

  • 1 pkg Spaghetti Noodles

  • 1 c Onions, finely chopped

  • 1 ea Bell Pepper, chopped

  • 1 c Celery, chopped

  • 1 pint Chicken Broth (from boiled chicken)

  • 1 T Tabasco Sauce

  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup

  • 1 can Tomato Soup

  • 1 lb Cheddar Cheese, grated

Directions

  • Boil chicken until done

  • Let cool, debone and chop meat

  • Preheat oven to 350°

  • Boil spaghetti noodles

  • Start the sauce by sautéing the onions, bell pepper and celery

  • Then add chicken broth, Tabasco sauce, cream of mushroom soup and tomato soup

  • After sauce is heated through add chopped chicken

  • Place spaghetti and chicken with sauce by layers in a baking dish

  • Top with grated cheddar cheese

  • Bake for 1 hour at 350°
