Brownie in a shell

Yummy!

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust

  • 4 squares semi-sweet chocolate

  • 1/2 cup margarine

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 2 eggs, separated

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1/3 cup flour

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans

Directions

  • Preheat oven and cookie sheet to 350°.

  • In a medium sauce pan melt chocolate and butter; cool slightly.

  • Mix together water, eggs yolks, and vanilla.

  • Stir into chocolate mixture.

  • Fold into flour and salt.

  • Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into chocolate mixture.

  • Stir in pecans.

  • Spread into pie shell.

  • Bake for about 30 minutes.

  • Cool completely.
